Help Save Mimi from Parvovirus

My name is Mimi. I was rescued from death row in a shelter on April 16th, 2011. Unfortunately I have Parvovirus and needed to be hospitalized. My foster Mom is now trying to raise money to help the family who adopted me pay for my treatment.

Oliver and Annie are a bonded pair looking for a foster or forever home near Arizona.
They were found huddled together in a Burger King parking lot. They came right up to their rescuer tails wagging. No owner found No rescue had space so they went to the pound.Oliver (male) is probably a 4-8 year old pitbull mix. A sweetheart. All he wants is love. He’ll stop eating if he thinks there’s a chance you’ll pet him. He sits really well, and is very well-behaved. He’s not demanding for attention. He sits back and waits for you to acknowledge him. Then he’s so happy you’re showing him love. He loves to stand between your legs to be pet. Rescuer said He’s just a funny, lovable dog!
Annie (female) is a young (maybe 1-3 years old) pitbull mix. She is more energetic. She chews sometimes, and jumps up on you. She still acts like a big puppy. She still needs some training. But she’s catching on quickly. They sleep curled up together, Oliver and Annie - because they were orphans.
They are now at the Arizona Poodle Rescue.

Two Dogs Near Birmingham Need Rescue

Contact Pat Christians if you can do something to help these dogs.

Phone: (205) 822-8997                 Email: bpws7878@bellsouth.net

Location: Birmingham, AL

A couple of good Samaritans have offered $500 to the rescue who takes these dogs. We know the male’s eye will need vet care and that both dogs will need basic vetting. A Spay and Neuter certification will be given to whatever shelter can take these dogs in.
So, that’s $500 plus spay/neuter certs (must be 501 c 3 status.) Transportation is available to move them out of state (we will get them where they need to go).

Pat Christians, who fosters for several rescues, generously agreed to hold the dogs until a rescue could be found for them. UNFORTUNATELY, Pat is under extreme pressure to move the dogs IMMEDIATELY (neighbors are unhappy and have contacted authorities). THEY MUST GO TODAY—-this is not a false plea for help—-these dogs REALLY HAVE TO GO. Right now, their only option is a shelter or Pat will simply have to return them to Center Point and hope the dogs can escape either gun shots or animal control officers.
These are two lab mixes, one appears to be a blonde lab who is missing an eye, the other appears to be a golden retriever mix-likely a chow/retriever mix. Both are still young, probably around a year old.

THIS IS AN URGENT CALL FOR RESCUE: if no one steps forward today, they are at a loss as to what to do. More info.
